GAAP Donations

Since we are a volunteer 501(c)3 organization, we depend on the community (everyone; local, national, and international) for support in all aspects of our work. Wherever you live, whatever you do, we will be happy recipients of your donations of money, time, food, TREE products, and love.

  • TREE (The Replenishment of Everyday Essentials)

A few years ago, after the North Central Florida AIDS Network folded, we continued part of their program that supplied certain products to People Living With AIDS (PLWA). It is called The Replenishment of Everyday Essentials (TREE) program. Once a month, we distribute necessities such as bathroom tissue, laundry soap, bleach, dish soap, toothbrushes, and many other personal items that food stamps will not pay for.

Product donations may be dropped off at the Pride Community Center at 3131 NW 13th Street (Suite 62) between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday or by calling 352.373.4227.

Just about everything and anything non-food is welcome, but the following list is considered most essential:

      • Laundry detergent and fabric softener
      • Shampoo and body wash or soap
      • Shaving cream and disposable razors
      • Toothpaste, toothpaste, and dental floss
      • Bathroom tissue, facial tissue, paper towels, adult diapers, and baby wipes
      • Household cleaning supplies (toilet cleaner, scouring powder, tub and tile cleaner, etc)
      • Antibacterial hand sanitizer and bleach

This program exists for people in Alachua County who have HIV or AIDS and are living on disability or food stamps (EBT). The supplies provided cannot be purchased with food stamps and would have to be purchased with the limited cash funds available to these friends. In order to provide these essential household needs, we must rely exclusively on the donations of product and funds from the local community. Please consider making a tax deductible donation today.
